Surviving The Stormy Days Of Winter
"Cabin fever is an idiomatic term, first recorded in 1918,[1] for a claustrophobic reaction that takes place when a person or group is isolated and/or shut in a small space, with nothing to do for an extended period. Cabin fever describes the extreme irritability and restlessness a person may feel in these situations.[2]"
To keep ourselves from getting bored over this storm(which dropped 2" and dropped temps under zero), I decided to filter thru the items in our spare room to go to storage. Finding all kinds of goodies to put away is always a fun thing but in our situation we don't want to get to cozy as we are gonna have to take it down later on this year to start the building process of our log cabin. Mountain Man did help a little but did a lot of supervising the process!
Today the weather cleared a little bit so he decided to go move it to the storage unit and out of the house. Even tho the temps are still really cold and the wind chill is bitter, he couldn't stand another cooped up day in the house. So I am supervising today while he works! Can't keep the man down even with a bum leg!!
This was full to the brim or at least waist high to the door! |
Yesterday we went to have the MRI done and look to have an appt later on in the week to get the results.
It is to cold to go out and take pictures! They say they haven't seen a winter like this in 25 yrs and yes, they are blaming on us Montana people! Listen we did not bring it down with us, there weather is much much worse!!
