Today was a gathering of wood for our house. The "troops" showed up and cut up about 2 cord in a short window of time....so happy!! Now we are ready for this impending storm coming.....
It's always a good feeling to have a good supply of wood at hand! I kind of miss the old days (a couple of years ago) when my husband and I did this regularly to feed our woodstove. I loved that toasty heat! We had a woodstove for most of the 33 years we were married. :)

A good supply of wood is always a good idea. We always keep at least a couple years worth cut and at the ready.
