Outing For A Day

We started out this morning headed for the dr.'s office. The results from the MRI were what we thought...a badly torn Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and Meniscus which will require surgery to repair. Will see the surgeon next week.

We then headed to his folks to pay a visit and have a bite of lunch.
I spent a bit of time with Curly..isn't he just beautiful?

As of the last 4 days we have had an awful smell of death coming from the laundry room. We moved the grill to the back deck thinking maybe that had something to do with it. Not it! Washed the soiled towels from grinding day. Not it! Lifted the washer and dryer looking under them for dead critters. Not it! Still on the hunt for the dead thingy...maybe under the house. Possibly we moved whatever it was out of it's home when we destroyed the shed and it moved itself under our house and died there......more later on this.....in the meantime the door remains closed until the smell goes away.

On the home front, I am consumed with the show "Downton Abbey". Love Love this show!!!!
Still catching up on this show to the present.....

  1. M.E.,

    I love Curly, he's a handsome horse.

Beautiful picture of you both with the horse.

Oh, I hope you find what's causing the horrific smell in your laundry room. We found a mouse that came inside from the cold (2 months ago), he died which explains our horrific smell. It took us a little while to find the little dead critter but we eventually did. Scrubbed down the area where we found him and then sprayer Lysol every where.

I've got you and your husband in my prayers for his surgery, recovery, and your taking care of him.

  3. I've smelled that smell before! :(
Praying for sure hands for the surgeons and a speedy recovery for hubby. Downton Abbey, oh my! I've watched only a couple of shows last year and the first one this year. I'm thinking I might get sucked in and have to watch more! Anything English holds a fascination for me! :)
