I usually do a Weekend Update but today does not seem appropiate in light of the events that happened overnight and through today for others east of us.
We are fortunate just lots of water here. Down pours of rain!
For others unfortunately they lost their lives in one of the deadliest tornado outbreaks of the year and it just started!
Vilonia/Mayflower, Ar(EF5 unconfirmed) is 250 miles South and West of us here in Marquand, Mo and Quapaw, Ok & Baxter Springs, Ks(EF2) is 330 miles west of us. Unconfirmed reports are saying that 16 have perished in these storms. The storms are moving east with threats of even more tornadoes, one set down in Bossier, LA (EF2) just this morning.
My prayers go out to those affected by these storms whether it is tornadoes or flooding etc.......

It was a scary weather day yesterday.

and had to wait for a bit before we could head Nort.
Lots of prayers for those dealing with the aftermath of the
storms.

My sons Teacher is from Arkansas...her elderly parents still live there as well as most of her family. So she has been on pins and needles...scary stuff those storms. Prayers for all effected....
