Meat, Corn And Beans Recipes

#1 Recipe: South Dakota Corn Beef N' Hash ( My hubby came up with the name-funny man)

2lbs of ground burger
2 eggs
1 cup of binder ( usually bread crumbs but in this case I used pork rinds, crushed)
1 tbls of Montreal Steak Seasoning
about a cup or two of cooked can corn (in my case I had leftovers from Steak Dinner night before)
which would probably equal one can of corn
1/4 C of milk
Mix all ingredients together well, may have to use your hands to get it mixed
Bake in 350* oven in a loaf pan plum full of meatloaf for about an hour.(155* on meat thermometer)
Serve with Baked potato!








#2 Recipe: 5 Bean Chili & Corn bread

 1 can of black beans, rinsed
1 can of navy beans, rinsed
1 can of kidney beans, rinsed
1 can of pinto beans, rinsed
1 can of chili beans
2 lbs of ground meat, cooked thoroughly
1 onion, chopped
1 pint of salsa
1 can of tomato sauce
Add to a large crockpot and let cook on" high" for an hour then turn to"keep warm" before serving, in my case it sat in crockpot for about 6 hrs.

                                                                                                                                                                                      
Corn Bread
1 c flour
1 c cornmeal
1/2 c sugar or splenda
4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/4 c oil or butter
1 c milk
1 can of corn
Mix all of these together well and pour into a 13x9 greased pan and Bake 425* for 23-27 mins.

    1. That cornbread did not last to long here. It was really good...was thinking maybe next time puttin some jalapenos in it I think it might be tasty that way! Always nice to see ya Vicki thanks for coming!
