Winter Watch Again!!
Carter |
When we woke this morning first thing we did was check the weather. And this folks is what we saw 6-10" expected! Ahhh disappointing but we had been watching and hoping that we would avoid this weather all together. So went to the Belle Fourche, SD weather to see if they were under a watch and Nope that isn't the case as of yet! Just wait an hour it changes! They are however, expecting rain and snow themselves. Got me a little choked up thinking about all those that have lost cattle in the last storm and another is on the way, yikes. Well our mission today is get the cows moved out of one field we opened up the other day so they had more grazing opportunity and get them back down in the shelter belt, get more wood in, and make sure things are prepared for this weather in general. Looks like we will again be delayed in getting cows to market one more time!

Have a great day everybody!!

Prayers for you and yours that you will be safe and come through this storm OK. My heart aches for those who have lost so much already due to the weather. Here in east-central Minnesota, it is still warm enough that rain is the only thing in our forecast, although predictions are for a colder, more miserable winter than we have seen the last few years. Global warming? Probably not.
ReplyDeletestay warm and toasty! The Farmers Almanac said it would be a brutal winter for you folks up there, and for us in the Southeast Wet and Cold.....
