1st Canner Of The Year
Went to the garden and lo, behold the green beans were giving again. I now had about 5-7 lbs as best we can figure of beans. In the canner they went!
Off to the pantry they go!

ReplyDeleteLooks good, we pulled off another harvest from our beans too. Just enough for a meal!
They look good. We have had so much rain, stuff in our garden is rotting. I'm trying to put up what I can. Thankfully, I still have plenty of green beans from last year, but it would have been nice to have been able to canned up a few new jars.

Sandy...They are wonderful fresh! We just had a bounty that needed a home.
Stone Acres I think that is in everybody's garden this year. My tomatoes are coming out of the garden now but a LOT of rot is showing up! The beans I am getting are showing signs of rot on them now too! Hang in... Maybe planting a fall garden is possible for ya. I guess that would depend on the area you are in!
