As some of you know in the Masterson family there are some really talented members. Mountain Man for example is a blacksmith and leathersmith. His dad is also a leathersmith. They have some beautiful work!
Recently, Mountain Man has been requested to fix a couple of spanish style slipper chairs. I understand they have been around a good many years. The wood has flexed and cracked in spots which can be dolled up with a little wood putty. Then the leather was rotten so Mountain Man found some that will be great for replacement. These chairs are just for show not for hanging out on!
When he completes this project I will be sure to post the finished product!
On top of this order, Mountain Man has a large coat to complete too! I cannot wait to see the end result on that......will post when it is ready!
