Tilapia, Shrimp & Broccoli Rice
Recipe: In a deep skillet melt 1/4 C of butter, 1 onion chopped, 2 Tbls of minced garlic cook until onion is done then add frozen fish fillets, shrimp until pan is full. Turn down to a simmer until the shrimp are done thru. Add seasoning of your choice. In a pot add 1 C of rice to 2 C of water , slab of butter and one broad head of broccoli chopped into little pieces. Boil then simmer just like any other time you cook rice. Oh, how fun was that!! Thanks so much for taking us along. I love all of the clothing in the style of the age, but what tickled me most, other than you snuggling up to another mountain man, was the sign for the soap - "Grandma knew what she was doing." So true.
