A pair of local experts weighed in on whether Ebola is "changing its stripes," so to speak. This disease is DEADLY! Our officials who we have voted in to PROTECT us are treating this DEADLY disease like it is the common cold! I realize that in past times our flu killed 100's of 1000's of people across this vast country. Just go to your local cemetery and you can see for yourselves. But, yes I say BUT we are in times that are way more advanced in technology, science and preparation for illnesses and diseases today. For $15 I got a basketful of fruits and veggies much like that one you see in the picture. Twice a month I could participate in this program. Now I have plenty from my garden although I would enjoy the fruit. I now just donate to the cause to feed others who may need it. This is a great way to donate...... there are many states who participate in this program. If interested go to the link above.... Well since ya asked ....yes it is still raining! I am not complaining the ground was thirsty. We did get a bunch though. We had some buckets in the back of the buggy and I believe we had 4+ inches of rain in them. Did I mention it is still raining!  The trees have really taken on some new colors. We noticed even the oaks are changing...winter is not far off. ********************************************************************************* Now to the Brown Bomber Here she is in all her glory... We loaded her up with all the garbage to take to the transit center. Now on this load there is old furniture, bbq, can full of old asphalt shingles (been layin on its side for months) and burn barrels. And off we went.....Now this truck is so noisy that you really can't have a conversation in it..should probably be wearing hearing protection but we don't. We get there just in the nick of time....lunch break was fast approaching...we had to shut the gate b...

We are amazed at this garden! We thank God for it everyday...... Today I went out to the sopping wet garden with Mtn Man's boots on...yes, a pic in of itself, thank goodness he didn't get that one....and picked to my little hearts content in between rain showers. We just heard the Tornado Watch Warning come over our two way radios so we are in for a day of it.
