I finally finished my book!! Yay!! Submitted it Friday and Tues at noon I got a call from my Agent...The Review Board accepted my book!! Wahoo!  This is a sample from my book I thought maybe I would share a piece with you all. Warning You may need a box of Kleenex....  Please be considerate and DO NOT COPY! Tuesday- March 25, 1997 I heard his keys rattle at the door of our apartment as he slowly opened it. His head hanging low and his face as white as a sheet I asked him, “Why are you home early?” I jumped out of the lazy chair I was sitting in watching the late night news.   I grabbed the remote and turned off the television. From the expression on his face I could see that it was something terrible. Kenny said, “I have some really bad news about Rick and Tina.”   I was instantly sick to my stomach when my intuition kicked in, the kind that only a mother can feel. I immediately went into hysterics screaming and crying back at him “NOT MY BABIES, PLEASE GOD, NOT MY BABIES.” ...

I am in the editing stage of the book! So excited to be here finally! Filling in the blanks...... Otherwise we are on day 2 or is it 3 of rain! It seems to be a constant drizzle to a downpour but it is great for the garden, right? Not much else is happenin'! Over on my "recommended reads" tab I listed a book called  Heaven Is Here by Stephanie Nielson http://nieniedialogues.blogspot.com/ I read out loud the first half to Mtn Man and then put the book away for couple weeks always wanting to go back to it but waiting for the right moment. Last night was that moment. I said my goodnights and crawled into bed trying to go to sleep but couldn't so I thought well I will just read for a bit. Stepanie's book is on my Kindle and I began to read and again I was sucked in as before. I read and wept for hours. She is an awesome writer and the faith that she has in God is so UN-wavered unlike I have ever read or seen in my life. Her story is very raw to the your inner core....spoken from her heart and memories of a burn patient with grace. Don't get me wrong she had/has her very bad times but not once did she blame God as most of us would or should I say I would. If you can, meaning mentally, handle reading this book please R...

I have been working on writing this book since the death of my children. I have a few people who have waited years for me to finish this book. Again I tell them that hopefully I will accomplish that this year (2014). I set goals for myself to get it finished and yet it still sits here in my mind and computer waiting for it's completion. This book is a painful reminder of what my past has shown me in my journey. To write down the memories some days puts me in moods I can't even describe to anyone as they would not understand. The other feeling I wrestle with is putting it "all out there" for others to see is quite frightening to my inner self. It means I am "layin it all out" for others to see...and sometimes the response to my short stories I tell is not welcoming so how would it be coming "all out" in book form? Then the other side of the coin, I feel pushed sometimes by "The Man Upstairs" to complete this book so others can learn from...

If you like to read mysteries I have some books for ya to read. My friend who is close to her 70's starting publishing her books, oh I would say about 2 yrs ago maybe it was last year, dang memory can't remember when but anyhoo. Barbara Renfro is now an author which was always her dream...back in the corner of some shelf she had a book that she wrote years and years ago I think she told me when her boys were young who are now in their 50's. We talked it over and I read over her script and commented on how well I thought the plot was, how the story grabbed ya and off she went to find a way to publish it. At first she tried to publish it with a known publisher but they wanted mula and lots of it. Nooooo way! Then she went on the hunt online to find a way to publish so she could at least get a little monies for all her hard work just like everybody else does. She decided on Kindle Self Publishing , she felt they had the best deal of all them out there. She just sent me a me...

I received an phone call from a dear friend of mine back home (on the western side of Montana). She had informed me that her book had been submitted to Kindle thru Amazon and she was anxious to hear whether it would be published or not. I received this email this morning.....
