Sunday Passage
Today our subject is FAITH. I have heard some say this is a hard one, but I really have to disagree with that. Having faith is as simple as in believing. For example.... You believe you will go to sleep at night and have faith that you will wake up the next morning.
To believe in something non tangible or to have faith in something non tangible is really a mind over matter deal I feel. Faith in God, for example, is something lots of people have trouble with because He is non tangible. But if you listen or hear or watch or see, you can find he is there!
For example, We asked numerous times in prayer where we were suppose to work when things got out of control at Tom's job in 2011. I asked Tom what he wanted to get back into and he said ranching. Ok, we moved forward in putting out 13 resume's and had one phone call. Went for the interview and by the middle of the week we had a job. Sold our place (which had been on the market for over a year with no bites), quit his job, packed our cabin (Tom owned for years), moved 600 miles all in 10 days. Everything went pretty smooth through the whole trip. We knew in our hearts that God made this happen for us. We had faith that he was gonna take care of us no matter what. We believed he had a purpose for us in this new job we acquired.
To me Faith, Hope and Belief all go hand in hand.
There are some folks out there that need our Faith, Hope, Belief and Prayers. Please hop over to Calamity Acres and give Mary Ann your support. She is an older lady who has a husband Keith, who is having some health issues and on top of it, they have had to move to smaller acreage for this reason. At this time she is going between the places trying to downsize and clean up as she goes along. Please say some prayers for her.
Then hop over to Standing Outside Looking In and give Stephen your support. His wife is fighting some health issues as well. He sounds like he is a busy man as well as worried about his wife. Needs our prayers!

Faith and prayer require letting go. If there was a huge hurdle in my life, it would be "letting go" and my fight to not admit some things are not to be understood; only accepted.
