Temporary Fix

Ok  so I think I have said before that we have decided to rebuild which means that the living quarters will be in the back half of the house. When we get the front half done then decide if we want to keep the back half or remodel it etc. But for now we are in the process of getting the laundry/kitchen set up in the one room and our bedroom is also a t.v. room.
So with this is mind we are fixing everything temporary like....the linoleum in the hallway is ripped in the middle so I went down and found some throw away carpet to put over this spot screwing it down in place. For heat in the back we decided to buy a propane heater and placed it in the same spot as the "broken" furnace which works well. The bathroom I have remodeled to our tastes and have to add couple more things and it will be finished.
Today my hubby got my utility/kitchen sink set up and my washer/dryer up which was no small task. So happy to have them up and running.
Looks like tomorrow we will get the rest of the kitchen set up in the room for our needs and then get things moved out of the front after the holidays.
Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!

  2. Wow! Good luck on your remodeling project guys! How’s it going so far? It would have been a bit uncomfortable having to remodel just as winter came in. Good thing you had a new heater ready. All the best. :D
