I am way excited at 8:49pm Pacific Time(21st) Sienna Rose made her debut! She is 7lbs 6 oz 21 inches long. I am one proud Auntie! Wouldn't be the first time I have been told that! LOL! Yesterday we truly soaked up the sunshine! Love it!  My bulbs are peeking out of the ground which means spring is not far off. I was told today another 45 days and things can start going in the garden. Checked the Farmer's Almanac and in my area looks like March 1st is the first day of planting! Wahoo! So what have we been up to....well working at the sawmill!  The guys cut up some logs after trying to get all the kinks out which seems to take more time than planned. Things were going along beautifully until..... A roller wheel went out. The bearings in it decided to give out.....now we wait for another pair to show up in the mail. Just replaced these about two weeks ago...haven't run but maybe 1000 board feet on the new ones. Oh well they are on there way! So the guys decided to start working on the shop. They had cut up enough boards to get going on it. It is starting to take shape. It is slow and...

Today has the taste of spring...I know it is just a teaser but still going to enjoy that sun!! Yesterday was no exception got up close to the 60's at our place. Right around us it was up and over that temp...Nice! Today is Mtn Man's first official day in a long while that he is getting paid to shoe. I pray that his knee holds up for the job. He trimmed all 5 of ours the last weekend so thinking it will be good today. Have a great weekend everybody! I guess I should start with and maybe I have mentioned this already but our work situation has changed once again. The job up north was revamped by the owner of the property. He decided to have the bigger machinery come in and finish what they started. He brought in another "crew" to finish the clean up which put us out of work. Will not put all our eggs in one basket ever again, lesson learned. Business is Business. We will still pursue our business of this nature just weight it out a bit more carefully. We are truly taking everything in stride! God has his plans and we are waiting or at least trying to wait on Him. We have put our feet out there on numerous different avenues and are just waiting to see which pops out at us. Today Mtn Man is having an interview with the USPS. It is a part time position right here in our hometown.. We shall see...... This last week/weekend, can't recall which, we went over and messed with the horses for a bit. ( Forgot my Camera that...
