Adventures Of Life!

For the rest of the story... A week after my birthday i received an email from a lady who found something that she felt belonged to me. She continued in this email to tell me that she found my email addy through my website about my kids. She then said she didn't want to upset my world but she found their headstones! I WAS FLOORED!! So my hubby gets on the phone and chats with her because i was a MESS!  For those who have Not read my book...my bio mother had kept them from me for 23 yrs!!! And apparently when she left to move yet again she left the stones behind! This lady had bought a house that she is remodeling. In her back yard she was removing a chicken run and found what she thought were paving stones and then to her surprise she found these. Sooo after digesting this news we moved to make arrangements to get them shipped back to me. They arrived today!! They are FINALLY home with me where they belong!! Thank you God!! Will be forever grateful to this lady, you know who you ar...

We spent the week getting ready for the BIG Event. Mowing, Trimming, Cleaning Up And Setting Up the Tee Pee. This might not seem like a lot, but it truly is.... This week we get the lease acres wired off and move horses. Back to the Big Event.... His two sisters live in St. Louis while the other lives in Rogers, Arkansas and the folks live near Cape Girardeau while our friends live close to the folks. Everybody made their way over to our place Friday morning. They all came in with tents, coolers, chairs and tons of food!  We sat around and visited moving as a crowd to the shade when it moved. Some left to find a swimming hole while others took naps or visited or rode 4 wheelers or whatever. That's the fun of getting together, everybody can do whatever they desire.... Within reason, of course!  Then come Saturday everybody was gone by noon! And we crashed!!!! Had so much fun.... Look forward to next year! Mowed...

Yesterday was another beautiful day! Temps in the mid 50's and sunshine it is just what we needed! We rose to have our breakfast and we were off to the outdoors to accomplish something. We decided to start with the horse trailer you know the one sitting by the house with the blue tarp on it so tired of seeing this when you looked out the window. So we pulled the tarp off and moved the trailer closer to the storage shed so we could empty its contents, took a little doing but we managed to pull it off. Then we moved the many piles of things to just one so only one tree is suffering now(joking) not three and everything is in one spot. Tried with the 1-ton but as you see below it was muddy so had to use the tractor It was bright!  After getting things in order we decided to go up to our mill and try to cut some logs. This is so cool! This is my first real time in seeing this machine work. I think this is going to be addicting for the guys. We ended the night...
