Frills and Thrills? Not!
For those of you who have not ever lived on a farm some things on a farm are not a thrill!
One of those things is cleaning out sheds whether it be chicken, goat or horses. Anybody who says they enjoy cleaning out barns and sheds has lost their marbles in my book! If ya find mine please return ASAP.
I can't say that I enjoy cleaning the chicken shed but it is a necessary thing to do to keep my chickies in a clean environment. Well, as clean as chickens can be anyhow! I am not one of those chicken moms who goes out everyday and gets all the little poopies out the shed or inspect my chickies everyday for bugs! Not even close! I do however, keep an eye on their behavior and guesstimate when a good time to clean their pen!
Today is the day....
All better!
Now to get their water jug filled with water spiked with Apple Cider Vinegar...we have some happy chickies!

Dumb question. What does the apple cider vinegar do for the water?
ReplyDeleteJ&M not a dumb question...Apple cider vinegar is not necessarily for the water but more for the chickens. It has healthy properties to it that benefit them. And they love it in their water. thanks for asking!!
