Running Free

 What a beautiful day we had today!! Sunshine and lite breeze just perfect!

We really didn't want to work ourselves to death today. We thought that company was coming but something came up and they cancelled. There is always another day for visitin'. Anyhow, while the ribs were thawing we decided to take out some rounds of logs to the goat pen for the little ones to jump around on. I noticed they were trying to climb the buckets and exploring a lot!

After tending to them (really just watching) we left the gate open so momma could get some much needed grass. That will help her bloom and her milk will be so sweet for these babies. We wormed her about a month ago for those wondering. For those who don't know when the spring grasses come on, so do the hatching of worms like crazy! Since the animals gobble down the grass, worming should really be done. We have a regular worming program that seems to work for our crew, including the horses.

I am loving it!
 By the by, the ribs were BBQ along with asparagus and we ate until we wanted to pop!! So so good!
