For the rest of the story... A week after my birthday i received an email from a lady who found something that she felt belonged to me. She continued in this email to tell me that she found my email addy through my website about my kids. She then said she didn't want to upset my world but she found their headstones! I WAS FLOORED!! So my hubby gets on the phone and chats with her because i was a MESS!  For those who have Not read my book...my bio mother had kept them from me for 23 yrs!!! And apparently when she left to move yet again she left the stones behind! This lady had bought a house that she is remodeling. In her back yard she was removing a chicken run and found what she thought were paving stones and then to her surprise she found these. Sooo after digesting this news we moved to make arrangements to get them shipped back to me. They arrived today!! They are FINALLY home with me where they belong!! Thank you God!! And for years it did not occur to me that I had buried (ashes in the ocean) my kids on April Fool's Day. When I put two and two together I thought the Devil sure played a nasty joke on that day. Ok so yesterday we left the farm early about 7 am headed for the Inlaws house. We had been invited over for a luncheon and some fellowship. Mtn Man had to return his dads pickup and trailer so I followed in the FJ. When we arrived we said our hello's and they were off to empty the tiller off the trailer. Then they ran to town with trailer in tow to Cousin Dave's house to help him transport an older truck that was going to the shop at the high school. With no hitches they arrived back in a short time. We waited for the arrival of his cousins for a much needed visit! I told ya last week that Mtn Man's great uncle had died well his daughter (D) and her husband (P) who are about the folks age are the cousins in question. P gets so excited about things on the farm. They both are city folks and anything farm related is just a treat for them. MIL, bless her heart, made up a big meal for everybody with a little help from me. Mtn Man humor strikes again! When you drive up to our place you see this.... instead of Stonehenge it is a Woodhenge. ****************************************************************************** Caught these guys and gals headed south yesterday..... **************************************************************************** And it is official we had our first killing frost on Wed night. The temps are suppose to drop down into the twenties tonite. We are prepared...wood is loaded into the house for our warm night. Last but not least by any measure, today is our 1 yr anniversary away from the ranch job in Montana. There's are a lot of the job that we miss, mostly the cattle but there are a lot of the job that we do not miss nor want to repeat ever again!! We left on Halloween night so exhausted.
