Reflection

As I get my brain reved up for the day ahead by drinking a large coffee, I am reflecting and preparing for the day ahead.
Did I get all the dishes in the mini dishwasher?
Did I get all the holes patched in three pairs of jeans for my new customer?
What time will I have to be social this morning? 9 or 10?
Will I get to drink the whole cup of coffee?
Then my thoughts float off to a mother of mine in our community who is in the battle of mental fortitude. Her husband just came home from a very intense brain surgery that has left him with a " recorder" in his brain. Technology that is in his brain to record the activity of his traumatic seizures that has affected his life. Not to say, his whole family's life!
She is my new hero!
Nine kids, plus a coach, taking care of her husband and then there is herself!!
God has got them I know!! He has sent people to make meals and I am sure the community has stepped in other ways as well.
Gob smacked! I would say...
Praying for that family as they traverse through this new journey.
Makes me think outside myself for sure. My piddly little life is going pretty darn good compared to that.
Hope yours is going good too.
