For the rest of the story... A week after my birthday i received an email from a lady who found something that she felt belonged to me. She continued in this email to tell me that she found my email addy through my website about my kids. She then said she didn't want to upset my world but she found their headstones! I WAS FLOORED!! So my hubby gets on the phone and chats with her because i was a MESS!  For those who have Not read my book...my bio mother had kept them from me for 23 yrs!!! And apparently when she left to move yet again she left the stones behind! This lady had bought a house that she is remodeling. In her back yard she was removing a chicken run and found what she thought were paving stones and then to her surprise she found these. Sooo after digesting this news we moved to make arrangements to get them shipped back to me. They arrived today!! They are FINALLY home with me where they belong!! Thank you God!! Will be forever grateful to this lady, you know who you ar...

Surprise It Is Raining Again! We did have some days of sunshine to catch up on the yards and the garden. Now we are looking at a week +/- of rain. What to do? What to do? Wow so many things have changed as of late in our country I mean. May God have mercy on us all!  I have to be honest here and say I never thought any of this would happen in my lifetime! I had dreams(visions) when I was a wee girl about things to come and they might still happen on my watch. Wow!  Again I say If you aren't right with God, figure out how to get right! If you are not a believer, might think about changing your mind! If you are a believer, better be taking time for Him in every way. This goes for me too! We are not perfect but we can work towards it! If ya fail pick yourself up and try again(for me this is numerous times in a day)! God is not going to fault ya for trying! I can't believe we are almost one quarter into this year! Blows my mind how fast time is going.....yikes! I hear it gets even faster.... I guess I should start with and maybe I have mentioned this already but our work situation has changed once again. The job up north was revamped by the owner of the property. He decided to have the bigger machinery come in and finish what they started. He brought in another "crew" to finish the clean up which put us out of work. Will not put all our eggs in one basket ever again, lesson learned. Business is Business. We will still pursue our business of this nature just weight it out a bit more carefully. We are truly taking everything in stride! God has his plans and we are waiting or at least trying to wait on Him. We have put our feet out there on numerous different avenues and are just waiting to see which pops out at us. Today Mtn Man is having an interview with the USPS. It is a part time position right here in our hometown.. We shall see...... This last week/weekend, can't recall which, we went over and messed with the horses for a bit. ( Forgot my Camera that...

Although the stories are that the Pilgrims came up with this day(at least that is what I was taught), the truth is that a courageous, outstanding woman of the 1800's thought it up all by herself probably with God's nudging! When this holiday was put into affect we as a nation were in the middle of the Civil War and were in need of such a holiday.  Thank you Sarah and President Lincoln. Sarah Josepha (Buell) Hale may be the individual most responsible for making Thanksgiving a national holiday in the United States; it had previously been celebrated only in New England. Each state scheduled its own holiday, some as early as October and others as late as January; it was largely unknown in the American South.
