Adventures Of Life!

For the rest of the story... A week after my birthday i received an email from a lady who found something that she felt belonged to me. She continued in this email to tell me that she found my email addy through my website about my kids. She then said she didn't want to upset my world but she found their headstones! I WAS FLOORED!! So my hubby gets on the phone and chats with her because i was a MESS!  For those who have Not read my book...my bio mother had kept them from me for 23 yrs!!! And apparently when she left to move yet again she left the stones behind! This lady had bought a house that she is remodeling. In her back yard she was removing a chicken run and found what she thought were paving stones and then to her surprise she found these. Sooo after digesting this news we moved to make arrangements to get them shipped back to me. They arrived today!! They are FINALLY home with me where they belong!! Thank you God!! Wouldn't be the first time I have been told that! LOL! Yesterday we truly soaked up the sunshine! Love it!  My bulbs are peeking out of the ground which means spring is not far off. I was told today another 45 days and things can start going in the garden. Checked the Farmer's Almanac and in my area looks like March 1st is the first day of planting! Wahoo! So what have we been up to....well working at the sawmill!  The guys cut up some logs after trying to get all the kinks out which seems to take more time than planned. Things were going along beautifully until..... A roller wheel went out. The bearings in it decided to give out.....now we wait for another pair to show up in the mail. Just replaced these about two weeks ago...haven't run but maybe 1000 board feet on the new ones. Oh well they are on there way! So the guys decided to start working on the shop. They had cut up enough boards to get going on it. It is starting to take shape. It is slow and...

Peanut gets so stressed out! I realized last Tuesday 25 th, that  17 yrs ago on that day my babies made their trip to heaven and that today the 1st, 17 yrs ago I set their ashes free in the ocean .  We picked a spot over in the pines when we first got here and today we dug the hole, looked inside to find the memories from 17 yrs ago and closed the lid, placed the beautiful urn in the ground and buried it.
