Which was yesterday......we had a great day! His knee is healing great see the doc next week to see what's next. He came home and put up stairs for our deck that leads off the side of the house to the garden. When he arrived I had all the tomato stakes installed. We got the climbing roses planted in front of the garden gateway and black pots(cut out the bottom) put up around the rhubarb to protect them from the elements. Planted the blackberries, grape and trees(around the bank by the round pen). The beans are showing themselves now and our pumpkin plant has a bloom on it which burst forth today. All new trees have leaves on them except the apricot. We then headed for town to pick up a couple of fishing poles because ours are still packed away(too difficult to get to at this time). Like many of you who follow this blog, it was spring now freezing weather for couple days then warmth will return. Do believe it was in the lower 30's last night had frost on the ground when we woke this morning. They were calling for snow but to my knowledge it didn't do that......lots of wind and cold rain. Sun is shining this morning but is still windy and the temps 36*. Look for temps to stay colder till tomorrow.  We spent some time yesterday afternoon covering the trees and plants that are fairly new so they wouldn't get frost bit. Do hope it helped them from getting too cold. Suppose to be cold today and then tomorrow be a bit warmer then and only then I will remove their wraps, I do not think it will hurt them to be under cover for a day.  Do hope you got your taxes done....It is tax day as if anybody needed reminding, right? Today was full up!! First we headed off to the " Old Greenville Rendezvous " which was a great event. About 80 tents and about 90% had something for sale or trade. We had a great time met up with Cousin Dave & another couple, D&A, to enjoy the festivities. All ended up taking home goodies of their own!  Here some pics from the event....
